The core activity of the new facility is the restoration of hot gas path blades and vanes. The minister was shown the full production cycle, from inspection and preparation of parts for repair to the restoration of geometry, application of protective coatings and final checks. The facility was presented by CEO Oleg Shevchenko and plant director Alexander Kushmanov.
The new site increases the company's gas turbine component repair capacity by 60%, widens the range of parts that can be restored and supports local production of critical components for power equipment. About 600 jobs are planned here by 2030. The project builds on the experience of the existing site, where more than 30,000 gas turbine components have been restored over the past ten years.
According to Oleg Shevchenko, the goal is not simply to replace individual operations previously performed abroad, but to build up the company's own technological base in Russia step by step. The project started in July 2025: the company purchased two production buildings with a total area of 3,000 sq m and a 2.8 ha plot, with investment estimated at 1.2 billion roubles excluding VAT. Turboservice services Siemens, GE and Ansaldo gas turbines in Russia, including field work, component restoration and parts supply.
For operators this means that hot gas path repairs of imported gas turbines less and less often require shipping parts abroad. SeverEnergoProject works in the same segment: it services and repairs Solar Turbines gas turbine units and supplies spare parts for them, including hot section components.
